Updated over a week ago

Clearing the cache is important because it helps to free up storage space, improve browsing speed, and ensure that you're viewing the most up-to-date version of websites. Depending on your browser, here are the steps you should follow to successfully clear your cache.

Clearing Cache in Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge on your computer.

  2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner to open the Edge menu.

  3. From the menu, select "Settings."

  4. Scroll down and click on "Privacy, search, and services" in the left sidebar.

  5. Under the "Clear browsing data" section, click on "Choose what to clear."

  6. Select the checkboxes for the data you want to clear, such as "Cached images and files."

  7. You can also choose to clear other types of data, such as browsing history or cookies, if desired.

  8. Click on the "Clear" button to clear the cache.

  9. Once the process is complete, close and reopen Microsoft Edge for the changes to take effect.
