Tasks (Assignee)

This article gives you an overview of what an assignee of a task can see and do inside a task, and the notification flow.

Updated over a week ago

Assignee is the user responsible for doing the task.

When creating a new task, assign the user you want to be responsible to that respective task to the field Assignee.

Notifications

The Assignee is notified in advance about future deadlines and if they are exceeded. Additionally, the Assignee is notified weekly with updates of relevant tasks. The notification is sent in night between Sunday and Monday (CET).

Overview in a task

After clicking into a task, you will be able to see an overview of the task:

  • “Upcoming tasks” are future deadlines.

  • “Started tasks” are deadlines with a review process that are in progress and will stay here until they are completed.

  • "Overdue tasks" are tasks that are overdue.

  • “Completed tasks” are the deadlines that are completed and closed.

Completing a task

In order to complete a task, you will have to click “Complete” in the Upcoming tasks tile. If the deadline has a questionnaire linked to it, you have to start completing the questionnaire.

Once you are ready, you can complete the deadline and the task will be moved to the Completed tasks tile.

If there’s a review process enabled on the respective task, you can submit your task for review by clicking Submit for review and the task will be moved to the Started Tasks field.
