Tooltips

This article describes how you can changes the tooltips within the Human Risks platform.

Updated over a week ago

The Human Risks platform enables administrators to manage the help text displayed when users hover their mouse over the question marks.

To do this, go to the "Organization" module, scroll down to the bottom, and click on "Tooltips".

A new page will open, displaying various lines corresponding to different parts of the platform. Each line number corresponds to the number used in the help text on the platform.

To update the default text, replace the existing text and click "Save". To restore the default text, click the trashcan icon next to the Save button.

In the following example, we showed how to modify the text of a tooltip. The initial step is to identify the specific tooltip number we wish to change.

In this instance, we'll be adjusting the tooltip associated with 'Asset Types' during the creation of a Risk Assessment. As in the picture below, the corresponding number code is '#33'.

Next step is to find the number code #33 inside the advanced functions of Tooltips. Here we can specify the desired text to be displayed for the Asset Type tooltip when creating a risk assessment.

After saving the changes, the intended tooltip will now display the updated text.
