User Roles: What can each one do?

In this article you can find out to what the different user roles have access to, in the Human Risk Platform.

Updated yesterday

On the Human Risks platform there are 4 different types of user roles: Administrator, Manager, Employee & Viewer.

The roles are designed to match the responsibilities a person has in their day‑to‑day work.

Administrator Role

The Administrator role has the widest overview. This role is meant for those who manage the platform at an organization‑wide level and therefore need access to everything, no matter the division or level.

Administrators can see, create, edit, copy, and delete all Risk Assessments, Incident Reports, Risks, Tasks, Health & Safety items, Questionnaires, Activity Logs, BIAs, BCPs, Crisis Management cases, Mass Comms, and Forms anywhere on the platform, as well as configure the platform from the organization page.

Manager Role

Managers focus on the area they are responsible for, whether that’s a region, a country, or a specific part of the business. Their role gives them the ability to work with all content in their assigned division and any levels beneath it.

Managers can see, create, edit, copy, and delete content within the divisions they have access to. This includes Risk Assessments, Incident Reports, Risks, Tasks, Health & Safety items, Questionnaires, Activity Logs, BIAs, BCPs, Crisis Management cases, and Mass Comms.

Employee Role

Employees work hands‑on with the risk assessments, tasks, reports, and items that relate directly to their work. Their access is centered around the things they either create themselves or are assigned to.

Employees can see only the Risk Assessments, Incident Reports, and Tasks they own or are assigned to. They can create Incident Reports and complete or update tasks assigned to them, but cannot delete or edit items they are not the owner or assignor of.

Viewer Role

The Viewer role is meant for people who simply need insight. Viewers can see everything within the division they belong to. Viewers cannot create, delete or edit anything. They only have viewer access.
