Updated over 6 months ago

The subscription feature of the Human Risks platform enables you to be notified of internal and external incidents reported within the system. This article will explain the overview on the subscription page as well as how to create and edit a subscription.

The subscription page is divided in three different areas.

  • Authored subscriptions - Displays all subscriptions you created on the platform. You can create, edit, or delete them here.

  • Assigned subscription - Here you will find all subscriptions assigned to you.

  • Other subscriptions - If you are an admin, you can see all the subscriptions on the platform here. You can create, edit, or remove subscriptions from here.

  • Unread notifications - All unread notifications related to your active subscriptions.

Create a new subscription

To create a new a new subscription, click on "Create +" and define a name for your subscription.

When you click on a subscription, a new page will open where you can modify the subscription. Here, you'll have the option to change:

  • The title of the subscription

  • The status of the subscription (which can be either Active or Inactive)

  • The number of recipients (users who will receive notifications related to the subscription)

  • The filters (which allow you to specify criteria for the notifications you want to receive)

Recipients

Filters

To create filters for your subscription, click on Add button. When defining a filter for your subscription you will have multiple option on how to configure the filter. You could:

  • Select the source you want to create a filter for. You can select between internal incident and/or external incidents.

  • Decide on the whether you would like to get alerts from incidents from a Custom Location or from a Risk Assessment Location.

  • Define the criteria for when to receive an alert.

  • Define the location from which you want to receive alerts from.

  • Note, you need to add the criteria and location to set up the subscription. You can't have only one.

Global subscriptions

Users can add a subscription without specifying a location, which is especially helpful for internal incidents. This is enable you to receive incidents regardless of the geographical location of the incident report.

To do this, users simply need to check the box labeled 'All locations,' as shown in the picture below:
