Human Risks allows you to translate parts of the platform into several languages. You can select between English, Danish, French, Spanish, Turkish and Chinese by clicking on the menu in the top right corner.
Currently, this is only available on the following modules: Dashboard, Risk assessments, Incident Reports, Treatments, Tasks, Questionnaires, Risk Register, Form Builder and the Organization Page. Note that this excludes the reports by external intelligence providers.
Note, as an admin, you have to be aware that if any of the terms from the "Dictionary" feature has been changed, you need to translate those as well. Otherwise the translated version of those words will reflect our original terms.
The same applies while building custom forms. You can title your field in the different languages that we provide. For more information check out this article.
Using your Browser to Translate
You can also use the translate feature on your browser to translate into other languages. The browser's translation feature is also particularly helpful in translating the reports by external intelligence providers into your preferred language. Below is a quick guide on how to turn on translation in your browser.
Google Chrome
To begin using the automatic translation feature, you will need to ensure that it has been enabled on your browser. While it is often automatically enabled, the status can be checked in your browser settings.
Click on the three dots (marked in the picture below) next to your profile on the toolbar in your browser and go to 'Settings'. Within Settings, you can use the search bar to search for 'Google Translate' and make sure 'Use Google Translate' is on.
Web pages not in your browser's language will now automatically translate. Here's an example of the popup you'll see.
In any case, you can still choose 'Translate' from the tool list that opens by clicking on the same 3 dots from the browser's toolbar!
Microsoft Edge
Just as with Chrome, you'll have to check if the translation feature has been enabled on your Edge browser. Click on the 3 dots by your profile (pictured below) in your Edge Toolbar and go to 'Settings.' You can use the search bar in the left panel to search for either 'Translate' or 'Languages' and you will get an option titled 'Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read.' Make sure this is on.
Once you're on a page that is in a different language from that of your browser, you'll see a popup with an option to translate. Here's an example:
