Filter on Incident Reports

In this article, we will explain how the filtering option on the Incident Reports module works.

Updated over a week ago

The Incident Reports module allows you to filter on multiple criteria in order to narrow your search and/or research previous incidents to support your threat identification and assessment process. If the filters are not automatically open, click on 'Show Filters'.

Each tab will show you different data. Depending on which source of information you choose (within your organization: Internal, Custom, and Activity; outside of your organization: Riskline, Seerist, Seerist Maritime, Risk Intelligence, and Terrorism Tracker), the filter options will vary.

Internal

The first tab helps you narrow down your searches for Internal Incident Reports and Risk Assessments sources. You have the opportunity to filter the search based:

  • Start – End Date

  • Reporting Period

  • Created by

  • Countries

  • Incident Categories and Incident Types

Custom

On the Custom tab you have the option to filter all the custom forms created internally. After choosing a template you will get prompted with all the filter options available based on that template.

Activity

The Activity tab helps you narrow down your searches for Activity Reports and Risk Assessments sources. You have the opportunity to filter the search based:

  • Start – End Date

  • Specific Reporting Period

  • Created by

  • Countries

  • Activity Types

Riskline

This tab will allow you to filter all the external Riskline incidents. Similar to Internal tab, you can filter on:

  • Start – End Date

  • Specific Reporting Period

  • Created by

  • Reported Start and End Date

  • Countries

  • Incident Categories

Additionally, a new filter option specific to this tab is the Risk Levels. Here, you can define the magnitude of the risks for the incidents that you want to be displayed. (ex: High and Extreme only)

Seerist

This tab will allow you to filter all the external Seerist incidents. You can filter on:

  • Start – End Date

  • Specific Reporting Period

  • Countries

  • Regions

  • Sectors

  • Asset Types

  • Incident Categories

  • Attack Types

  • Perpetrators

  • Severity Score

Seerist Maritime

This tab will allow you to filter all the external Seerist Maritime incidents. You can filter on:

  • Start – End Date

  • Countries

  • Maritime Regions

  • Maritime Waters

  • Vessel Types

  • Maritime Categories

  • Maritime Subcategories

Risk Intelligence

This tab will allow you to filter all the external Riskline Intelligence incidents. You can filter on:

  • Start – End Date

  • Specific Reporting Period

  • Incident Types

Terrorism Tracker

This tab will allow you to filter all the external Terrorism Tracker incidents. You can filter on:

  • Start – End Date

  • Specific Reporting Period

  • Regions

  • Countries

  • Weapons

  • Targets

  • Event Types

  • Perpetrator Types
