Filtering on Threats

This article gives you an overview of the Risk Register module on the Human Risks platform.

The Risk Register provides you with a total overview of threats, risks and residual risk levels of threats and the mitigating measures (treatments) associated with them across countries, divisions and risk assessments.

You can use the filter button on the top bar as shown in the screenshot above to filter on all the threats you have access to.

Filter options:

  • Divisions - You are able to filter on threats from a specific division by selecting one or more divisions in the drop down at the top of the page.

  • Countries - Gives you the option to filter on all the threats from a specific country or a combination of countries.

  • Risk assessments - Gives you the option to filter on all threats from a risk assessment or several.

  • Risk levels - Gives you the option to filter on risk levels.

  • Residual risk levels - Gives you the option to filter based on the residual risk level of the threats.

  • Threat category and types - Gives you the option to filter based on a specific threat categories and types available on the platform.

  • Assessed - allows you to filter on threats that have either been assessed or haven't been assessed. 

Export Excel - It's possible to download you search on the treatments' pages into an Excel file by clicking on the "Export Excel" button on the top right side. To clear any filter applied, simply click on "Clear filter" button.

Right under you will see some charts showing the Threats, Risks and Residual Risks. It is aggregated data for all threats you are filtering on.

Below the charts, you will find a list with all the threat types from your platform. Each column display a piece of information about the threat:

  • Name - displays the threat name

  • Risk Assessment - illustrate the risk assessment from which the threat belongs to

  • Threat level - reflects the likelihood and consequence levels that were assessed in the Risk Assessment.

  • Risk Level - refers to the risk level based on the currently implemented treatments.

  • Residual Risk Level - illustrate the level of the risk once the not implemented and in progress treatments have been implemented.

You can order them ascending or descending based on different criteria by clicking the header of the respective column.

Both Risk Level and Residual Risk Level have a shield (🛡️) and a number displaying additional information about the state of the treatment for that respective threat. The numbers are displaying the following:

  • For Risk Level it shows the number of treatments implemented.

  • For Residual Risk Level it shows the number of treatments that are not implemented.

Clicking on any of the shield from either Risk Level or Residual Risk Level, will open a new window with an overview of the situation of the threat.
