As an administrator on the Human Risks platform, you have the ability to set up divisions and manage/edit them. This article will explain how to get started with setting up you divisions as well as how you make changes to them.

How to create a new division

  2. Scroll down to the Divisions tile of the page.

  4. Write the Name of the division

  5. Decide whether this division you are creating should have any a parent division. If not move on.

  6. Decide whether you want any existing division(s) to be sub division(s) to this division. If not relevant move on.

  7. Once you are ready, click create division.

Edit divisions

Add subdivision

This functionality enable you to add a subdivision to the division.

Move/Copy subdivision

Move/copy subdivision enables you to either move or copy a division into an existing parent division. Note that if you copy a division the copied division will still have a relation to the existing/original division. This means if you make any changes within one copy then it will reflect on all copies.

Remove subdivision

The Remove Subdivision function enables you to remove a subdivision from the parent division that it is part of. Note that this is different from deleting a division. Deleting a division will remove the division completely from the system and all copies of the division as well.

Rename Division

Rename division enables you to select a new title for the division.

Delete Division

This function allows you to delete your division from the platform.

Note, this will permanently delete the division and any copies of it.

Divisional Structure

The divisions can be organised in a hierarchy, where each division is assigned a specific level or rank based on its relationship to other divisions within the organizational structure.

If you add Risk "Assessment A" to β€œBuilding A” then a user with access to β€œLiverpool” will be able to see it. So will a user with access to "United Kingdom" or "EMEA" but not a user with access only to "London".

A division can be listed under several divisions, which makes it possible to mirror a geographical and an organizational structure.
