This article explains how to configure the Overall Risk Score for your Risk Assessments.

Setting up Risk Assessment Score for the first time

As an administrator on the Human Risks platform, you can add enable and edit the methodology for your organization's Overall Risk Score to show across all Risk Assessments of the platform. These settings can be configured on the Organization page.

To enable the feature, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the "Organisation Module"

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page

  3. Tick the box to enable the Overall Risk Score feature.

Categories

The categories section allows you to add, remove and update the categories you want your organization's overall risk score framework to be based on.

To add a new category, follow the steps bellow:

  1. Click on "Add Category"

  2. Type the "Title" of the category

  3. Add an upper benchmark for the risk score category. Note, the lower benchmark for your new/updated risk score category will be defined automatically by the upper benchmark of the category below it.

  4. Choose a color for display of the risk score on risk assessments.

  5. Add a "Description" for the overall risk score category, to align to your internal framework.

  6. Lastly, click to save all changes.

To delete a category, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the trash icon to delete. Note, if you delete a category, the surrounding benchmarks will adjust automatically.

  2. Lastly, click to save all the changes

To edit a category, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the edit icon

  2. Make the changes you want

  3. Click update

  4. Lastly, click to save all the changes

Weightings

The weightings for the different risk will be pre-populated according to the most typical use case. You have the ability to change the weightings to your preference. To do so follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the number of the Risk you wish to change

  2. Type a number

  3. Click on preview to see the effect the change will have on the existing Risk Assessments in the platform

  4. Click save

Note: the greater the value the higher the weighing the type of risk will have on the score.
